This is a story of gardeners, bakers, waiters, mayors or taxi drivers, who for a time were our eyes and our voice, journalists to survive the spiral of violence requested political asylum in the United States, threatened by organized crime and the federal forces of Mexico.

Everardo González Reyes

(Fort Collins, Col, E.U.A. 1971)
Graduated from “Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana” in the Bachelor of Social Communication and from “Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica” in the Bachelor of Cinematography. Documentary Maker and Independent Producer, he made the documental sectors for the fiction feature film “Backyard: el traspatio”, directed by Carlos Carrera, work for which he received the Mexican award Silver Ariel for Best Cinematography in 2010. In 2011 he finished his third feature documentary El cielo abierto. Nowadays, he is a member of the National System of Artistic Creators in Mexico.
